What this site is

This site describes the radon measurement services of Radon Explorer and provides general educational information about radon. Radon Explorer provides radon measurement only. It does not install radon mitigation systems and does not provide waterproofing, mold services, duct cleaning, environmental remediation, or home inspections.

Educational content

Information on this site is general and educational. It does not replace guidance from public-health agencies, a qualified radon professional, or a medical professional, and it is not medical advice. Radon guidance is periodically revised; always check the current version of the sources listed on the home page.

Bookings

Submitting the booking form or sending an email is a request, not a confirmed appointment. Scope, availability, price, and any cancellation or rescheduling terms are confirmed by Radon Explorer before the appointment.

No guarantee of results

A measurement reports the radon concentration under the conditions during the measurement period. Concentrations can change with weather, ventilation, occupancy, and building conditions. No result guarantees that a building will have a particular concentration in the future, and no measurement prevents disease.

Illustrations

The house cross-section, animation, glow effects, and vapour on this site are conceptual illustrations. Radon is invisible and has no color, smell, or taste.
